Songs from composers in the 15th and 16th centuries will be echoed by newer versions by composers of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The music will flow from 16-part pieces by Josquin des Prez (1450-1521) and Antonio Caldara (1670-1736) to eight-part pieces by music arranged by James Erb (1926-2014) and Rosephanye Powell (b. 1962). Bach, Dowland, Bouzignac, Pearsall, Monteverdi, Barber, and many more will express the joy and sorrows of human experience.
