Passio Domini: Music of Passiontide

Looking for a moment of profound reflection? Join us for a unique program of choral and organ works designed to stir the soul.

Join us for an evening of profound musical expression and historic beauty.

We invite you to experience a program designed for deep reflection, featuring the masterful polyphony of Renaissance composers Palestrina, Victoria, and Gesualdo. Their emotionally expressive works will be paired with the haunting, somber reflections of Francis Poulenc, creating a bridge across centuries of sacred music.

Throughout the evening, the majestic pipes of the organ will fill the sanctuary with timeless compositions by Byrd, Pachelbel, and Buxtehude.

The program is curated to guide listeners through a landscape of contemplation. As the music concludes, the sanctuary will be slowly enveloped in total darkness. In keeping with the solemnity of the day, we ask all guests to depart the sanctuary in silence, carrying the stillness of the music with them.
